Our MERINO SHIELD TEC line is at home on long alpine routes. The pants are extremely SCUFF-RESISTANT and ROBUST thanks to processing with CORDURA®. In the Martindale test used to test scuff resistance, the primary material for the shorts and pants was able to withstand over 50,000 abrasion cycles. The LIGHT CLIMBING PANTS are made of merino wool, elastane and polyamide, along with CORDURA® – a mix that guarantees HIGH BREATHABILITY and GREAT FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT. The 4-WAY STRETCH MATERIAL keeps up with each of your movements on the mountain. In order to protect high-stress areas such as the knees, we’ve used an EVEN MORE ROBUST MATERIAL MIX made of CORDURA® (>100.000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test). The pants also impress with a waistband that is quick and easy to adjust.
You’ll never want to take off your short PALA climbing pants! These climbing shorts have an ergonomic cut, are super elastic, robust and, at just 265 grams (men’s size M), are also extremely light. The knee area is reinforced for use on rocks. The width-adjustable waistband ensures a perfect fit, and MERINO COOL AIR MESH on the waistband ensures good moisture wicking and high wear comfort. These climbing pants have a total of three pockets: two slip-in pockets and a map pocket on the right thigh. And of course, there is also an attachment for your chalk bag.
