Our MERINO SHIELD TEC line is at home on long alpine routes. The pants are extremely SCUFF-RESISTANT and ROBUST thanks to processing with CORDURA®. In the Martindale test used to test scuff resistance, the primary material for the shorts and pants was able to withstand over 50,000 abrasion cycles. The LIGHT CLIMBING PANTS are made of merino wool, elastane and polyamide, along with CORDURA® – a mix that guarantees HIGH BREATHABILITY and GREAT FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT. The 4-WAY STRETCH MATERIAL keeps up with each of your movements on the mountain. In order to protect high-stress areas such as the knees, we’ve used an EVEN MORE ROBUST MATERIAL MIX made of CORDURA® (>100.000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test). The pants also impress with a waistband that is quick and easy to adjust.
With their extra reinforced knee area, the robust PALA climbing pants are made for use on rocks! The ergonomic cut and width-adjustable waistband ensure an optimum fit. Maximum freedom of movement is guaranteed thanks to the use of elastic materials. MERINO COOL AIR MESH in the waistband ensures ideal moisture wicking and high wear comfort. What’s more, these light climbing pants are fitted with a holder for your chalk bag, an elasticated band on the ankle cuffs and a total of three pockets including a map pocket.
